About Dr. Charles
Dr. Wilfred Charles is a gentle, caring dentist who uses state-of-the-art technology and procedures available to residents of the Washington DC metropolitan area. His values surround a thorough yet comfortable, dental practice with a strong emphasis on getting to know every patient the best he can. Dr. Charles is a friend and family member to every patient with the way he is a careful listener and will explain beforehand what treatment is best for your individual needs and budget.
After earning his bachelor’s degree from City University New York, Dr. Charles received his doctorate from Howard University in 1977. He has since taken many continuing education courses, including those in implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, sedation, Invisalign®, oral cancer treatment and TMJ (jaw pain) therapy. Dr. Wilfred Charles is a member of the American Dental Association, State of Maryland Dental Association and Southern Maryland Dental Society and the American Dental Implant Association

Dr. Charles is an avid sports fan, especially soccer, football, cricket and basketball. When not making you smile in his dental office, he loves spending time with his family.
